Pickup Bellows expansion joints are based on the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association (EJMA) code of design and conform to the pressure and temperature ratings in EN1092-1 and EN1759-1.
The EJMA standards are accepted internationally and give known parameters for the design and application of expansion joints. Pickup Bellows recommends that expansion joints are selected and applied in accordance with EJMA or British Standard Code of Practice BS6129:Part 1.

Our bellows convolutions are manufactured from various grades of stainless steel, and a wide variety of nickel alloys, depending on their working environment. The bellows convolutions are produced by hydraulically forming or mechanically rolling the desired profile from a tube which consists of one or more plies of material. After forming, end connections are welded to the bellows, and various types of restraint devices to control the amount and direction of movement can be fitted during the production process if desired. In most applications internal sleeves are incorporated to streamline the flow and protect the convolutions.
